The only comment I will make on the finish of this deck is that the stock is a lot stronger than the typical bicycle deck. It feels much more like Bee stock though I think a bit of that can be attributed to the large amount of ink that had to be used to make the awesome design. Still the deck handles well even for me with small fingers.
Lets start with the back design. The pattern is the same as what is on the back of the 125 year celebration decks which is nice. There is one welcome change to them though. The borders are much smaller and I appreciate that immensely.
The faces are based on the standard bike faces but with a great worn look. All blacks on this deck are the rich chocolate brown found everywhere and red remain red. The court cards look great as well. Bicycle does go as far as Ellusionist with their series 1800 decks to make each and every card unique as a lot of the pips sport the same wear look but it still looks unique enough during use.
BACK – 8/10
FACE – 7/10
FINISH – 5/10
Buy? Yeah. They’re good for the collection and for doing fancy cardistry. Cheap enough to at your local Walmart.
